Nevoa is an ‘old’ love. It was the first Portuguese Brand I visited, when this blog was just a seminal idea. I liked so much to meet Mariana, to see her creations and discuss about her project, that I decided I wanted to do more of it.
When we met in summer, Mariana told me she was working on a new collection. I remember to hope she would manage to keep true to the quiet elegance emanating from her pieces, as she made her move into new formats and colours.
The collection is now out and it is called ‘Be Beyond’. It reinvents the elegance so true to Nevoa’s spirit. A quiet elegance that does not impose itself and is intemporal.

Kith & Kin
Nevoa’s trays were the first pieces that caught my eye. “Be Beyond” presents ‘Kith & Kin’ in a new format and new colours. The two trays can be used in tandem or separately. You can choose from copper/ pink or gold/ blue.
According with definition Kith & Kin are the people you are related to and nothing better than a tray full of drinks and cookies to celebrate connections.
Coreto Table Lamp
Coreto table lamp is an hommage to bandstands around the world. The brass dome covers a base in wood where Nevoa’s signature silkscreen technique is inspired by the flow of dreams. You can choose from Gold, Copper and Antracite Grey.
Vivid Table Lamp
Vivid is making a come back, just like the Coreto Table Lamp. Its solid body has now new colours and patterns.
The previous collection was anchored on the imaginary of shapes and tiles with strong geometric forms. In the new collection, shapes become fluid and colours less direct…. just like in our dreams.
“What color are your dreams?, asks Nevoa. Mines are definitely pink and copper.
